GlamGuns and Makeup!!!

So I finally played in my new makeup and I loved everything I purchased! I don't like spending a lot of money on makeup so I'm very comfortable with trying out drugstore brands. Occasionally I use the cheap stuff from the beauty supply but if I find a good deal on the department store brands I will try them out as well.
And here is what I looked like. Keep in mind that this is trial and error I will in no way, shape, or form profess to be a makeup artist or anything close to it :-)

In other "on goings" or "goings on",I've been on this kick about getting my FOID card so I can purchase my own gun and go to the range and fire off a few rounds. I might even have a few pics of some JERKS from my past to use as target practice LBVS! Check these babies out!!!

Don't think it's for sale but you can pay to have a gun look like this.
Pink Elektra 9mm by STI retails for over $1000
Pink 9mm Sig Mosquito

I do not condone violence of any kind, but it is rough out here on these streets of Chicago. Remember, "Guns don't kill people. People kill people" Gotta be prepared and on guard at all times. That's why I keep a mean mugg on my face so people will know that I DON'T PLAY!!! LBVS

Night Out Makeup Routine

Ok its Jan 14 and MLK weekend which means tons of parties going on. I wanna go out REALLY BAD! LOL I want to hear some TRAP music!! Gucci Mane, Lil Wayne, Waka Flocka, and Rick Ross!!! I need to hear the ghetto stuff every now and then! Which brings me to thinking about why by the end of the night when I'm partying do I look like I have chicken grease all over my face! It's like I never put on any powder. When I apply my "night time" makeup I start out by wiping my face with alcohol. Applying concealer to my eyes to disguise my dark circles, then applying pressed powder all over with a kabuki brush, brow liner, blush (Iman), eyeshadow(mostly L.A. Color), and lastly mascara (Bad Gal Lash). I know that if I want a more professional makeup look then I need to consult a professional. I actually gave this lady from Clinique a chance and I was not pleased. Nothing looked good on me even the blush was too much. I was embarrassed to keep it on but since I don't like hurting people's feelings I told her I liked it. I realized that she did her best considering her age. But this time around I will consult with one of my peers. My fave look is neutral with a little color on the eyes and lips. I'm trying to be more risky with the colors and I want the colors to pop out. My BFF just told me about a product called Loreal Decrease. Its an eyeshadow base that prevents creasing or fading for up to eight hours. So yes I will be popping into Walgreen's to try this out.

$7.99 at Ulta

Sooo my mission is to pick up a few cosmetics over the weekend to find out what other colors compliment me. Cant wait to find a cure to the greasiness and play in some makeup. Pics will be posted very soon!!

Who wants to wash my hair????

Ugh not being too productive today but I still have obligations. So my hair needs to be washed. Any volunteers?! The quickest answer to that would be for me to go to a salon, but that's a no no. I have the money, but I also feel like it's a waste of money. I have been doing my own hair for YEARS, with the exception of my installs. I'm completely relaxer free, going on a year and 5 months. Whew, who would have THUNK it. I will admit that I need to take better care of my hair so today I'm using two new conditioners (Suave humectant and elasta QP intense fortifying conditioning treatment) and a leave in conditioner (Optimum care leave in ultimate strengthener). I've also been taking Biotin once a day so I should be in good shape by the summer. Although I have been styling my own hair for the last two months I've been thinking about wearing  a wig or two for some versatility. My favorite style is shoulder length with the blunt cut Chinese bang.
Not sure about the little long piece but I LUV this cut!

I ABSOLUTELY luv this hair!
I'm not trying to go red like Rihanna but this style and curl pattern is so adorable to me. I would wear it if it was a little thinner and a bit longer. Only problem is I would have to wear it as a wig and not an install because once again I like versatility....... Now off to wash my hair! HAPPY HUMP DAY DARLINGS

1/11/2011 What an interesting sequence of numbers!

Sooo its been a while. The holidays held me hostage. Once I returned from Miami my schedule was insane. But, I'M BACK LIKE TWO FLATS ON A CADILLAC. Soo much has happened since my last post so I'll try to keep up and consistently post for the next few days.

My trip to MIA was awesome and well needed. 76 degrees in December does a body good. Did some shopping, eating, sightseeing, and R&R!! I also took some great nature pics. Meet a real cool Russian guy who gave us a free massage and invited us to dinner at a Russian restaurant. Forgot to call him the next day though. But besides that, I got to finally see more of Miami Beach!! Check out my pics below!
