I am so MOTIVATED by SHOES!!

Every time I see a pair of shoes that attracts me I envision the outfit, the occasion, and the weather. I wonder am I the only one that does that. Well anyway I came up on a couple of pairs that have different purposes. Just wanted to share!! Go Gurl It's Ya Birthday!! Open Wide, I know Ya Thirsty!! Say AHHH!!!

Yep that's right I just celebrated my 26th Birthday :-D LOL I had a ball bringing in my BDAY!! I was so happy to see all of my friends and some family come out and celebrate with me!! It was ALMOST better than last year when I went to Jamaica!! I had to keep the Jamaican theme going this year which is why I chose Ja'Grill! Music and Rum Punch were ON POINT! EVERYBODY that had a RUM PUNCH that night had a GOOD TIME :-D Including the BIRTHDAY GIRL!!! I have to admit the best part of my birthday was getting my NAILZ DID! I specifically wrote down exactly what I wanted on each finger. It came out even better than I expected. Astrowifey HOOKED A SISTA UP!! Sooo since I'm celebrating my BIRTHDAY all month long, I'm going to go all out for my next nail appointment and I cant wait!

Patiently Anticipating (Warmer Temps)

Currently suffering from insomnia :-/ Figured I might as well blog about all the items I'm looking forward to shop for and wear when the weather permits. This year I want to dress more feminine at work and when I'm out on the town. I've purchased several mini/bandage skirts but what I really need is more dresses. I'm over the maxi dress for this year and I hope other women follow suit because I'm tired of seeing them. I also love the length of the below the knee pencil skirt. It makes me think of the vintage pin up look. Hopefully I will be able to duplicate some of these designs when I get more familiar with sewing!

It's been a long time coming but Spring has arrived (MAYBE)

So it's the end of March but unfortunately it doesn't feel like it when you step outside. Nope it's not just Chicago, everywhere else in the country is experiencing cold weather. Pretty much sucks right now but I'm thinking happy thoughts about warm weather!!! At first I felt kinda silly for buying a wool coat at the very end of the season but it's definitely served its purpose thus far. Bought some super cute buttons for it too!!

Since spring and summer temps are approaching, the only thing on my mind has been short shorts. Yes I have chicken legs but for some odd reason I feel so feminine in shorts. I still wear them in the winter. It's just like wearing a skirt with pantyhose LOL
